Where to get Uniform.

Prestige Design:

46-48 High Street Flitwick and Unit 12 Barton Industrial Estate.http://www.prestigedesignww.co.uk.

Their home page doesn’t specifically mention Explorers, but if you click on “Scouts”, Explorer shirts and trousers are there.

Luton (Falkes) District Scout shop:

District HQ, Applecroft Road Stopsley, LU2 8BD. Tuesdays 7.00-900pm and Saturday morning 9.30-11.30. 01582-731498. It’s about ½ mile from the new swimming pool on the Hitchin side of Luton.

They carry a good stock of the standard items in a range of sizes and if you can get along to the shop during opening hours there is the opportunity to try items if you're not sure about sizes. If you’re after something that isn’t in stock, they can generally get it in 7-10 days. You can also email them at badge.shop@falkesscouts.org.uk.

Scout Shops:

There is a mail order service operated by Scout Shops which is a totally owned part of the Scout Association at http://shop.scouts.org.uk. They obviously carry the full range, but there is a P&P charge which you don’t pay if you can visit either the Falkes shop or Prestige Design. If you look at the tiny print in the bottom right corner of the Scout Shops home page there is a sizing guide. It’s slightly confusing at first impression but Explorer uniform is included under Scouts for sizing purposes.
